Ah time for the last hurrah! Pettahth did see it coming, but he was enjoying himself enough - surprise surprise - that he didn't want it to be over just yet. Regardless, he flipped over one last protruding ledge and headed up into the big dance floor in the sky in the hopes that he would show the green that he did not have two left wings. Even more importantly he couldn't be a copy cat! Oh no, he had to do something different and the usual flips and spins were nice but if he wanted to Impress he needed something else.
The brown began his version of singing, much like K'sel was doing at the same time in the flightroom. His did influence him with a good many ideas though, and music was the one this time. As he twisted up in his path to meet with Peppeth he crooned and allowed Futh to loop around him, using the act as a chance to return the favor a moment later and do the same to him in a snake like move with wings tucked in close to his sides. When he came out of the maneuver he added his own flair, parachuting his wings out grandly, flickering his tail like it had a rattle on it, and trumpeting to his object of his desires.
K'sel was having a grand old time, even if the music making was getting a little tiring. The man was practically running out of breath what with blowing the horn and trying to dance around the room in his own way. The song finally officially stopped as M'kai took a few missteps and K'sel did the same causing them to nearly collide. Disaster was avoided with a smooth move from the brownrider, stopping his forward motion with a shift of weight leaving him teetering on his tippy toes and swinging his arms to keep from falling right into the red-haired man. Look! Pernese ballet!

As they sped through the canyon, Ismaroth could not resist the urge to drop low over the River itself so that he could trail a claw in the water. Gliding until he caught a rising current, the Brown carefully pulled away from the surface when he noticed Peppeth watching them. From his years of chasing, he knew that when a female looked back to take stock of their chasers it was often times indicative of a change in location or direction. And like that, she was up and out of the canyon. To clear the walls at the pace he wanted, Ismaroth had to heavily pump his wings to gain speed and altitude. With all the energy the Green must have spent with her climbs and twirls, dodges and dives, the chase had to be ending soon. If this climb itself wasn't the signal of the end. He honestly couldn't tell since this Green liked to bounce all over the place like she was caught in the winter breeze. Now that they were climbing higher, he cut back slightly on the following and focused more on the impressing.
He wasn't like Futh or Pettahth, that blatantly rambunctious energy simply wasn't him, nor was he as creative with his chase as Behruth. Ismaroth was more... like an old fashioned human. The dance he gave was more calculated, perhaps it could even be called eloquent, it was a very noticeable difference than the lively twirls and spins. Rotating his body in a circle as he rose vertically higher, he flared his wings and dropped a few meters before swinging shallowly from side to side as the currents carried him up. The Brown dipped his wing and rolled to the right, then a few moments later did a slow backward loop. Yes, these were taking him time to preform since they weren't as fast as the others, but he hoped the appearance would pan out in the end. Dipping left he preformed the roll and loop again before climbing higher and panning back to the right and turning in a circle on his wingtip. Sling-shotting upward, he rumbled with pleasure.
He couldn't help but laugh (in good humor) when the Blue and the Brown managed to avoid colliding into each other. E'rro clapped in appreciation at K'sel who turned his avoidance into a dance step. He wanted to dance too, although he probably wouldn't be able to pull off the maneuver that the smaller Brown was pulling off. So instead he chose a slower beat, something that was familiar. Arms reaching out as if he had a partner, the man began to hum a soft melody as he moved in a square like pattern. One two three. One two three. Twirling as he moved, the tall male stepped out in a motion his partner was supposed to mirror, but seeing as he had none he continued on his way. E'rro pretended to pull his air-partner in again, leading into another spiral box-step. He did his best to keep on beat with the song he was humming.

Behruth took a slight detour on his way up out of the canyon, dipping in and out along the ledges almost playfully - and perhaps just a bit dangerously close when not intending to land on them. Peppeth's ledge found, he deposited his gift there for her so she could have it whether she chose him or not, wheeling neatly from the near-stall into a blast of air that shot him upwards. He watched the three males dancing above him and the green gleaming so beautifully in her twisting ascent. All had gotten ahead due to his various detours, though Behruth was unconcerned; he'd come to dance and dance he did. If it wasn't quite like the others...well, as long as Peppeth was pleased with it, it didn't really matter, did it?
While the others danced, Behruth engaged in something a little more - trademark - for him. He began working the thermals, slipstreams and air currents, maximizing his speed and minimizing his efforts as he engaged in twists, turns, and loops that would suddenly shoot him up, leave him hovering, catch him and fling him sideways or propel him forward as if he were a small pebble caught in the rushing waters of a stream turned vertical rather than a dragon pushing to gain ascent. And yet the method was fast for all its seeming complexity; he managed to climb much faster this way than he could have on the power of his own wings, and had soon caught up to the other males, playing in and out of his thermals for a little longer before tucking wing and flipping tail to twist downward into a small dive that looped him around the others before his nose - and then his suddenly spread wings - caught a strong updraft and shot him up to an altitude very near Peppeth's like some sort of geyser.
The humming abruptly cut off in a startled half-squeaking sound, before M'ta pressed just enough against her to feel the briefest brush of her body against his. He reluctantly watched her pull away, resuming the soft humming and swinging around as she'd shown him with something that was almost a childlike abandon. This was fun but he was beginning to get a little dizzy...he stopped, eyes focusing on the beautiful Peppeth for a lingering moment.

Peppeth keened with delight, her flight reaching its peak. She didn't want it to end. This had been so much fun and her males were all so lovely. She loved to see how they danced to impress her. Each one was so different in his affections and she wished she could chose them all. Yet her wings had grown tired with all the fancy tricks. She would have to chose now, or risk taking too long. Taking a last, lazy circle, Peppeth sighed contentedly. It was sad that it had to be over, but the best was yet to come.
More critical than ever, Peppeth regarded each male carefully. Behruth was her old love and a dear one. He was a skilled flyer and so thoughtful with his gifts. Futh was the youngest and a jolly chaser. She adored his bouncy pace and antics. Pettahth was handsome and daring. His unique choice to bring music to her Flight intrigued her. Lastly, Ismaroth was the largest. He might not have been able to keep up entirely, but he'd done so well impressing her anyway that she couldn't rule him out so easily.
It was getting harder to stay aloft. The time was now or never. Peppeth crooned lovingly to her males. She truly wished she could choose them all and she was so happy they'd come to dance with her. Her mind drifted from theirs and focused on the one she chose. Her wings closed and she fell back, trusting that he could catch her and hold her tightly. Sing for me, sweet Pettahth? Peppeth crooned alluringly. His song was so beautiful. No one had ever sung for her before.
Farryl bowed dramatically and offered her waiting crowd. She wished she could dance with them more. Beaming at each, she twirled closer. Her path took her around M'kai, M'ta and E'rro briefly. She wanted them to know she appreciated them too. Then her steps took her to her musician. Gently she pushed the horn from K'sel's grip and steady his arm. It would be time for more music later, she smiled happily. Perhaps they could have a duet?
