BAHAHA! “SHUTUP!” BWAHAHAHAHA! “I SAID SHUTUP!” bwahahahaha… “I’m warning you, Squee!” bwahaha? “COME HERE YOU STUPID SALAMANDYR!” P’nor snarled as he lunged for his idiotic pet. How the nightmarish Blue had learned how to say ‘bwahaha’ was beyond the Bronzerider, but all he cared about was getting the monster and drowning him…
And then falling head first into the river because of a big bronze tail that just “happened” to get in the way. As his staggered to his feet and cursed the heavens, Cyanth lowered his head meekly to the sand. Oops… I’m sorry, normine. It was accident. Just like teaching Squee ‘bwahaha’ was? Well, he did catch on pretty fast. I hate you all. P’nor grumbled as he stepped back onto the shore and reached for his extra furs. “You will all eventually kill me. I swear.” He growled and plopped down beside Cyanth for warmth. The Bronze lowered his wing to shelter his rider from the breeze, but the Bronzerider continued to mutter under his breath especially when Squee scurried onto his head and continued to speak. BWAHAHA! S’UPIDS! BAHAHA! Try Bah-hum-bug, Blue Friend. Cyanth coaxed happily. BAH BUM BUG! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! “I think I’m going to die….”

A carefree laugh drifted on the air for a moment, preceding a swimming bronze dragon in the most unlikely manner, especially considering that the bronze in question was Idith and neither he nor his rider were much noted for laughing. However once Idith’s tail came into view it was easy to see why R’aro was laughing. He was hanging on to his bronze’s tail with both hands, letting Idith drag him through the water Idith occasionally jerked his tail one way or another, sending his chosen skewing across the river.
Idith, why are you slowing down?R’aro seemed slightly confused as his feet drifted downwards. Two things. We are running out of water deep enough for me to swim in, and Cyanth and his are just over there. We should probably stop and say hello. Idith put his feet down and waded out of the river, R’aro sighed and dropped his dragon’s tail, leaving the river in the shadow of his dragon. He shivered as the breeze touched him, maybe swimming with Idith was an activity best left for warmer months. ‘If it’s the cold I completely understand.’ R’aro answered the voice coming from behind Cyanth’s wing without thinking.
Hello Cyanth. Idith greeted the older bronze as he flopped gracelessly down in what seemed like a good place.

Cyanth had "heard" Idith long before he caught sight of the Bronze and his rider. While he would have normally stood and "stretched" before welcoming a male of the same rank, HisMine would most likely snarl and throw a fit if he was forced out of his temporary shelter. Instead, it was the ever so overprotective and very territorial Squee that greeted Idith and R'aro. BWAHAHAHA BURN BUTTS!!!! Squee screeched happily and as strongly as he could into everyone's minds, and P'nor reacted very badly to it.
He ignored R'aro's greeting and lunged for the stupid blue salamandyr that was perched on Cyanth's head. "COME HERE YOU SHARDING WHERRY-BRAINED THREAD-LOVING MONSTER!!!!!!" The apparent anger and annoyance in P'nor's voice was clear enough for even Squee to see he had crossed the forbidden line. With the speed only a mandyr could harness, Squee was gone and most likely running for the nearest pretty that would coddle him. Turning away from Squee's previous position, P'nor finally acknowledged his company.
"I was talking about that Thing that decided that I was the only one for it. He and Cy over there simply love to drive me insane and Athol," P'nor gestured to the Blue fire-lizard sleeping on Cyanth's back, "has gotten me on the wrong side of the youngest Goldrider because he wanted to be friends with her." He muttered darkly and plopped down next to Cyanth who was more then happy to talk with Idith. Hello, Idith. How are you and Yours? Mine is obviously in a bad mood, but he always is when it's "cold" out.
bwahaha.....

Idith did not care for being screeched at, the dragon’s head shot up and he looked accusingly at the small blue creature perched on Cyanth’s head, very probably wishing Squee was somewhere where Idith could snap at him without incurring the wrath of the older bronze. R’aro, you must promise you’ll never Impress one of those. Idith told his rider urgently.
R’aro leapt backwards at P’nor’s outburst, he could appreciate the sentiment but not the volume, was that where the salamandyr learned to shout from? Well R’aro had to laugh, nervously, as he stumbled into Idith’s side, at the speed the creature could muster to vanish with.
‘Well I can appreciate the queen sized embarrassment of having pets, though happily all of my firelizards are off doing something else at the moment.’ R’aro admitted as he slid down Idith’s side to sit down with his back against the bronze hide. He knew how much trouble firelizards could be, no doubt salamandyrs with their power of speech could be infinitely worse. ‘But how could a little flitter like him annoy Savitri that much? I don’t know her all that well but she seems reasonable.’ Idith considered how to answer Cyanth for a moment. I am well but I don’t think Mine has reacted well to meeting that salamandyr. He diplomatically didn’t mention R’aro’s nervousness of P’nor himself.

As if the salamandyr had learned how to scream so loudly from P'nor. From the day he had Hatched, Squee had been loud and obnoxious in the way he spoke, and now, P'nor had to suffer from those effects until either he died, went mentally deaf, or Squee disappeared off the face of Pern. None of those were very likely which was very sad in the Bronzerider's opinion. bahbah squee mine bah-hah... Despite the distance between himself and the salamandyr, P'nor could still hear the annoying chatter, but in all politeness, he attempted to tune it out.
"You're a very lucky person right now. I had the bad luck of Impressing Squee, and with both being different species, they hate each other." P'nor's eyes narrowed as he directed his gaze to Athol, whom was eying him with annoyance from the comment. "I believe it was the Hatching Feast after the Goldrider Impressed, and I think she thought I was trying to hit on her. Faranth knows I tried to get out of there as fast as possible, but I wasn't about to leave without the monster." P'nor continued to mutter as he plopped down on a rock. He hated this.
I don't think anyone does, Idith, and I think all of his siblings are just as strange. Cyanth chuckled as he felt the little salamandyr's presence nearby. Being as protective as he was, Squee wasn't about to let anyone go near His without him being around even if Bronzie was present. Only Squee was good enough to protect his Norpet.
