R'vor had long grown used to his white salamandyr's habit of betweening from his hand at any given moment with the intention to spy on a victem, the habit was impossible to break. R'vor was perched in a tree overlooking the weyrbowl awaiting the return of Pisero, preparing himself for the gossip the the white would report back.
This time, the victom was within eye sight, so he was able to watch the proceedings. Pisero was actually hovering above a boy's head, staying out of sight. What was the boy doing? The white could not figure it out, so eyes whirling in distress he returned to R'vor, perching on his nose. R'vor was asaulted by an image of himself shrinking down to a speck and clambering onto Pisero's back and being ferried to the ground, where they could spy together. The tree was so tall, R'vor wasn't any help! Unless he grew really big ears of course. R'vor felt a disgruntled train of thought from Piwoth, but for once the blue didn't voice his annoyance with the mandyr.
“Shoo,” R'vor said playfully, prodding the white's body with a finger playfully. “Go spy some more. The white mandyr jumped into the air abruptly and disapeared, leaving R'vor to relax. It really was a beautiful day, R'vor reviewed, not to hot and not to cold, just perfect... He closed his eyes and relinquished his grasp on the tree, content to just balance there.
Only ten seconds later, the white mandyr reapeared, startling R'vor. Unfortunatly, the blue rider jerked when he was startled, so he fell straight out of the tree and onto his back. Groaning R'vor, rolled over. Pisero zoomed down in alarm. The ground should have been soft! Like a pillow, and then his human wouldn't have been hurt. Times like this R'vor wished that his whites projections could be a reality. Landing on a pillow wouldn't leave him with a bruise. R'vor winced as he pushed himself to his feet, looking around in embaressment. Hopefully his little accident would go unnoticed.

Didn't you just eat? The question was broadcasted to the green dragon's mind. Instead of the calm reaction she had hoped she would get, she got a screeching whine that told her that her dragon would definitely get whatever she wanted. But it wasn't enoughhhhh. Can we go, Lanilove? At the moment, Lani herself was eating, and she wasn't anxious to stop eating because her dragon was hungry, especially when Katearath was old enough to go on her own. She expressed enough now, stuffing another bite of bubbly pie in her mouth. Can't you go by yourself, Kate? It was a good thing she didn't need her mouth to talk to her dragon, because it was currently stuffed with delicious, fruity heaven. Kate whined again. I want you to go with meeeee!
" Oh for Faranth's sake!" Shoving her food aside, she stalked over to Kate's ledge, staring up at the green with narrowed eyes. " Fine! Let's hurry though. I don't like standing there all say while you stuff yourself." Kate only chuckled lightly, lowering her head to stare at Leilani for a moment. Imagine how I feel. The dragon gave a toothy grin, but Leilani just sighed, throwing on a jacket and mounting her dragon quickly. Still laughing, the dragon leaped into the air, her irritated rider in tow and headed towards the feeding grounds.
By the time they got there, Leilani had all but forgotten how upset she had been. She loved flying, and Kate was positively the most magnificent flier. The girl was enjoying the feeling of the wind through her hair when the moment was over and Kate was hitting the ground. The green dragon perched on the rim of the bowl, waiting for her rider to get off. Lani was doing just that when she felt Kate brush her mind lightly. There's someone in that tree over there, Lani. Quickly, Lani looked in the direction Kate indicated, only to have the dragon hiss at her. Don't look! You have to be subtle, love. Lani was frustrated, but complied, looking back at her dragon's hide. Is it a dragonrider at least? Maybe they're waiting for their dragon to finish stuffing their face like you dragged me out here to do. Kate wisely ignored her quip, straining her neck a little. I think so, but it's hard to see knots from this distance. I think you should go say hi.
With that, the green took off, hovering in the air for a moment while she picked out her target. Then she dropped like a stone, claws wrapping around her chosen victim. You would. Lani thought humorlessly. She felt Kate's amusement, even as she settled down to nom on her meal. Sighing, Lani decided she might as well go chat with this stranger, there was nothing else to do while she waited for Kate to finish.
As she walked over, she thought the man must have been sleeping or something, because he didn't react to her presence, all at once though, a white salamandyr popped into the air in front of him, and startled, he tumbled right out of the tree. Gasping, Lani rushed over. " Are you okay?" She called out breathlessly. " That was quite the tumble." When she got to him, she glanced to the mandyr before looking back at the fallen rider. " Are you injured?"

R'vor grimanced as another rider, a greenrider if he went by the knots, came to his assistence. Damn, he had almost gotten away with the tumble without drawing any attention, that would have been optimal, but of course someone would have seen it. Just his luck, really.
"I'm ok," he muttered, dusting off his pant legs which had been soiled by the grass, grimancing in agreement with her second statment. Quite a fall it had been indeed, and it hurt like Fardles. "I think I'm alright, just a tad banged up," R'vor said, after quickly stretching his apendanges searching for injuries. Nothing was injured, Just your pride. Piwoth interjected, tone laced with amusement.
Nice of you to show up, R'vor thought, making a slight face. I was hungry, High in the sky, Piwoth folded his wings and dove towards the flock of wherries that were there for the taking, and singled one out. Poor thing didn't stand a chance as it was carried away in the blue's talons. The dragon landed besides the green who was also feasting on the meat and settled in next to her, without saying a word.
R'vor glanced at Pisero, who had worked himself into a frenzy at Piwoth's glutonous nature. The blue's stomach would become engourged with the rotting filth, and it would finally rip at the seams and spill out, mixed with bloods and guts, and all the disgusting inerds that would mix with the meat becoming one. Horrible horrible meateaters all dragons were!
R'vor ignored the little white's tittering, deciding to instead engage in conversation with his 'rescuer.' "Thanks for your concern, my name's R'vor, and this is Pisero," he said pointing at the whtie who promptly betweened away. R'vor rolled his eyes, the mandyr would be back shortly. "Pisero's my blue, he's getting some food right now. You know my name, so may I beg yours?"

Lani wasn't quite convinced that he was completely "okay". That had been quite a fall, but he was getting up from it, so it couldn't be as bad as she initially thought. Under normal circumstances, Lani probably would have worried him to the point where she knew he was perfectly fine, but she refrained herself for the moment. The girl didn't want to injure the rider's masculinity anymore than she already had simply by seeing him fall. Not that she could have helped that anyway thanks to Kate. " As long as you don't have a concussion or anything." She said as she approached him, an amiable grin on her face. " I'd have to go fetch a healer and I don't think that Kate would quite be up for that." The rumbles she was currently feeling from her dragon lifebond told her that the green was currently feasting on whatever it was that she caught.
Lani preferred not to think about what it was that he caught. I believe that rider is Piwoth's, Lanimine. Was all she got out of her dragon before the green dug back into her meal.
Leilani eyed the little white mandyr, grinning at its antics. She had seen mandyrs since she came to the weyr, and she was well versed on the little things, but she had always secretly wanted one, well, no so secretly since the main obstacle to her obtaining one knew. Kate would never approve of her getting a mandyr. Though, once it happened, there would be little the dragon could do about it. Though, Lani didn't ever want to do anything to intentionally hurt her dragon. Kate was everything to her.
Instead, she turned her attention back to the other rider, who had introduced himself and his bonds. Grinning, she tilted her head towards where the two dragons were gorging. " My name is Leilani. The green over there currently stuffing her face with Faranth knows what is my Katearath." Wow. That was embarrassing. Kate was currently displaying the most unladylike manners she had ever witnessed. I'd like you to try and eat normally when you're starvingggg

"That won't be necassary, R'vor said, stretching his neck and cringing slightly. It still hurt. Ahh shards, why had he been caught off gaurd by Pisero? All this could have been avoided if he had just kept his eyes open. Well, at least he wasn't hurt baddly, but his ego had taken a rather large hit. Kate? Who was that? Katearath Piwoth supplied his rider. Oh! R'vor realized he did know who Kate was, and he was now able to place a name to the face of this woman. Leilani, yes, that was it, they had seen the pair around the weyr, but had never been formally introduced.
His thoughts were confirmed as the greenrider introduced herself. He grinned as Leilani pointed out her green and recognized Piwoth next to her, eating with equel ferocity. Making friends? No, but I might be making enemies soon enough. Her food looks much more apatizing than mine. I think I might take it.
R'vor chuckled slightly, while reajusting his clothes and smoothing his hair. There we go, he though happily, Now it looks like I never fell! Pisero apeared again, hovering right infront of Leilani, projecting pictures of Kate. No, the dragon was not unladylike! The wondeful green was just enjoying her food, and nothing was wrong with that! The white projected an image of Kate on a throne with all the meat she could ever want circling her. Eating was not bad!
Pisero turned and flitted back to R'vor's wrist, giving R'vor a disgruntled look before replaying a scene of the green digging into magot filled meat, only an image the bluerider could see. R'vor frowned slightly, before glancing back at Leilani. Pisero was not to repeat that image to the greenrider. Pisero understood, he would not share anything with the nasty dragon's human, who was probably just as nasty and glutnous as the dumb dragon. Yes, the dragon could eat all the meat she wanted, maybe then there would be none left for R'vor. Pisero supposed that that would be alright.
"Do you have one?" R'vor asked Leilani as the white salamandyr got comfortable in his hand. He wanted to change to topic, to anything really, as long as they didn't have to discuss his embarrassing fall.
