Early morning drills were such a pain. Someone needed to tell E’rro that just because he was Wingleader of Legatus it did not give him the right to get them up before dawn like Ka’rys used to. Especially when it involved trying to wiggle out from under her sleeping weyrmate. Not that the man had done more then grunt unintelligibly at her when Elysia had finally managed to squirm free. Then S’rei had proceeded to half roll over and go right back to sleep. Not that he had ever been really awake in the first place.
How much do you want to bet he’s still in bed? That would be a pointless bet. He most certainly is. Onyth responded as she back winged to land on her ledge and crouched to allow her rider to dismount. The green dragon shifted her weight as Elysia removed her straps, impatient to go and snuggle with her mate. Snorting the rider dismissed Onyth, the darkly colored female wasting no time in half bounding over to Salenth to sprawl near his side and lean contentedly against the large bronze. Her bronze.
The possessive feelings spilling over from her draconic half made Elysia snort. You act like you weren’t just using him as a couch candlemarks ago. The rider grumped as she entered the weyr and started to shed her clothes. Her only response was a wash of contentment from Onyth. Bothersome beast. A quick glance into the bedroom proved that yep. S’rei was still asleep. Lazy lug. It was oh so tempting to wake him right then, but in all honesty Elysia doubted he would appreciate her all grimy and sweaty. And even if the bronzer did well she really wanted a bath. Bath first. Then she’d wake the sleeping beast.
One quick trip to the bathing room later the greenrider re-entered the bedroom, wrapped in just a towel. Really was he going to sleep all morning? Wrinkling her nose Elysia walked over to his side of the bed and leaned over S’rei, allowing her damp hair to trail over his skin before she nipped his ear. “Reeeeeeei wake up.” Nipping behind his ear she continued. “You playing hooky or just being lazy?” A quick glance was given to the small blue mandyr curled up on the pillow next to the bronzer’s head. Damn mandyr. Sweet as Mhir was he was the bane of the greenrider’s existence at this point. Growling softly against S’rei’s neck she continued. “Don’t you have things to do lazy ass?”

He wasn't exactly asleep. He just wasn't awake. Yes, there was a distinction. S'rei was aware of movement around his weyr, including his young nephew stealing out to the kitchens for breakfast. He was aware of Salenth's rustlings on his ledge, aware of Mhir and the little one's soft breathing as the blue continued to sleep. Like most babies, he slept a lot. No, S'rei wasn't asleep. His brain was just in that lovely fuzzy stage where every thought was isolated and fluffy and just floated up to the surface on a waft of warm air...So of course he noticed his weyrmate's return and even extended her a warm mental welcome that was more of a yaaaay sort of feeling. You know, if people cheered at the decibel level of a murmur. Salenth, too, could hardly fail to notice his returning mate. He did not suffer from this slow wakefulness problem that His did, however, and immediately entwined his tail with Onyth's. Jostling about so much, my lovely green, is likely to cause Yours to take longer with your straps, he commented to her teasingly. How were your wing drills this morning? Entertaining? I would have roused Mine to take me to a spot with more interesting things to see - perhaps to your drills - but it is dangerous to ask him to move before he is ready. A draconic chuckle followed that statement. He has at times been known to try to walk off the ledge, thinking he is already mounted. The bronzerider might have protested his lifemate's sharing this information with Onyth, but he was still in that pleasant warm bubble of not-quite-awake. Though even he had to admit that it would have been a bit more pleasant had Elysia come to join him. Why was she so energetic so early? Surely now was a good time for a nap, after her drills. Suppressing a yawn, the man found himself slipping back into a doze while she tinkered around in the bathing room. (To be fair, he wasn't usually this bad. The fact that Mhir was asleep seemed to be affecting him. Actually, ever since acquiring the little blue, S'rei had been decidedly more drowsy whenever the 'mandyr was taking one of his frequent daytime naps.) He almost (though not quite) managed to suppress a shiver at the feel of hair and teeth and breath on neck and ear, one grey eye sliding open to focus on her in that way of his that seemed anything but focused. Then S'rei smiled and looped an arm around her, pulling her down into the bed with him towel and all. The bronzerider did however make sure to scoop Mhir into a safe place where he wouldn't be squished. Never so sleepy as to not be aware of his blue. "No one to do, not for awhile," he murmured in his just awakened bear rasp. He buried his face in her hair and snugged her up close against him. "Smell delicious." After a second or two his brain seemed to finally process what she'd been getting at, and he wrinkled his nose up in a show of petulance she likely wouldn't see. "If you wouldn't keep me up half the night teasing me," he muttered, in something that sounded suspiciously close to a whine.

Onyth crooned softly at her bronze as he entwined his tail with hers, her head moving to nuzzle at the underside of the large male’s jaw. The affectionate gesture terminated in a very soft nip at almost the exact same moment that her rider nipped S’rei’s jaw. Whether it was Onyth mimicking the gesture of hers or the other way around it was hard to tell. Near seamless the pair tended to be at times unless they had differing opinions on a matter. In response to Salenth's tease she only rumbled softly in her chest, her muzzle moving down the length of his neck. I suppose they were quite entertaining my handsome bronze. Or as entertaining as drills can be. It was raining this morning a little. I like the challenge of flying mock battle in the rain, though mine is less enthused about it. Especially when the rain stops and she ends up being damp the rest of the drill. Whirling eyes swirled with an amused shade as the green chuckled in return. We would not want Yours to go ledge diving. Even here I imagine that would be a terrible way to start the morning. Laying her head upon the bronze’s shoulder she sighed in contentment. We shall just have to be his roadblock. Mine finds him terribly fun to play with when he is sleepy.
When S’rei shivered Elysia smiled against his neck, a soft purr starting in her throat. She loved teasing him almost more then anything. Seduction was more an art then anything else to the woman and driving the bronzer wild had the pleasant effect of making her feel very wanted. A feeling she craved. It was sated near endlessly by her weyrmate too. He never failed to react in some fashion to her subtle and most times not so subtle teasing, even when he valiantly tried not to. Elysia almost liked it more when S’rei did try to resist. The battle made the eventual ending oh so much better. This however was not productive thinking. Not with Mhir being a very efficient complete cock block as it were. Another reason to dislike mandyrs. As if Dementia had not already given her enough.
Dark eyes widened as she felt a strong arm wrap around her and a half growl of protest was uttered before the greenrider was pulled down next to her weyrmate. The noise terminated quickly however as Elysia was forced to fight back a frustrated whine. The feeling of only the towel, and whatever fur S’rei still had half draped over him, between them was almost maddening. In response the woman tilted her head and nipped sharply at the bronzer’s neck nosing up to his jaw before pulling her head back slightly to get some distance. Rational thought was likely to start getting hard otherwise. Especially when he spoke. The bronzer had one of the best sleepy drawls she had ever heard. Deep, content, and with just the right amount of roughness to it. This time she couldn’t fight the slight shiver that ran through her frame. Especially when he commented about her smell. A soft chuckle left her throat before the woman responded in that purring tone she had adopted. “I promise I taste even better.” She murmured against his neck. “A shame you can’t partake.”
Dark eyes slipped to a half close then. Elysia was more then content to doze the rest of the morning away in his arms at this point but it seemed S’rei was waking. Hmm to nap or play? A hand smoothed in a half caressing manner along the bronzer’s chest and the greenrider chuckled. “Not my fault you had to impress and force us into celibacy. I am just making you pay for it.” Oh and she was too. And it would continue unceasingly until Mhir had grown up. S’rei’s own personal hell and she was the reigning demon. If it was wrong Elysia didn’t care. It was fun. Pulling back to prop herself up with one arm she snapped at his nose. “Don’t whine love. It only makes me want to torture you more.” She grinned then. “So how long do you have before you have to go play nice with the council of drab? I for one support playing hooky.”

Salenth wasn't what you'd call a dragon who tended to be devoted to one and only one dragon. He had a surprisingly large number of greens he'd caught over the turns, as well as golds, especially considering he didn't chase altogether often. But he was old enough not to be terribly interested in chasing everything with a tail as long as he was getting some relatively frequently, which just happened to coincide with about how often a normal green rose. No, the bronze wasn't 'romantic' per se, but he did see the logic and convenience in a green who would choose him as a mate without fail, and the constant companionship between Rises was very pleasant. Thus it all worked out well for the both of them. He crooned at her affections. Oh, he is not in a flying mood currently. I do not think we'll have to block him from a swift fall. Salenth's lids slid shut. Rain is nice. It is getting quite warm, even so high in the mountains.
There was always this underlying simmer between them - or almost always. S'rei almost felt like a teenager again with this forced celibacy. Of course it wasn't the first time he'd gone without for months, but he also hadn't had a woman bent on driving him crazy sharing his furs with him at the same time. Plus it really wasn't that productive to fight back, because he usually just ended up frustrating himself almost as badly as her. Nevertheless he wouldn't have it another way. What was he going to do, tell her to sleep on the couch in five layers of clothing until Mhir matured? Return to her old weyr she never used and he was pretty sure had been given over to one of the refugees anyway?
"Prolly," he murmured back, arm tightening slightly around the woman. He watched her as well as one can upon first opening your eyes and with her at your neck like some sort of parasite. Going to suck his bloood. Okay, perhaps he still wasn't quite awake. "Didn't Impress on purpose," he protested in that flat sort of way people had when they'd made the same excuse dozens of times. S'rei didn't really mind, anyway; Mhir was absolutely sweet. He wouldn't have chosen to Impress, but the childlike creature helped. He helped ease the absence of a different salamandyr that even turns later the bronzerider felt the absence of like a shredded part of his soul, and the loss of a child. The man was more than willing to put up with this for a few months in return.
"Don't you always want to torture me?" he questioned with a half-sleepy smile, then blinked at her question. Hm. "Not till after lunch. Got drills later this morning," he answered after a long moment of searching his mind for just what day this was. "Y'know I don't play hooky." S'rei covered a yawn, then slipped an arm behind his head and smiled up at her. "What will you do today when I'm stuck with this council of drab, as you call it?" His other hand traced a line down her neck and over one exposed shoulder. Taming the beast. It was something the bronzerider seemed to be good at, though the exact definition of 'tame' could be argued.

Listening quietly to the larger male Onyth let her eyes slip half shut and tucked her wings tighter against her spine. She didn’t move her head from Salenth’s shoulder however, it was comfortable there for the moment. Yes the rain was quite pleasant. Whirling eyes closed the rest of the way. Warm outside perhaps but the interior of this place is a pleasant temperature. It seems to stay warm enough during the cold months and cool enough in the hot ones. Yes the temperature regulated itself quite well in the weyr. Probably because of it’s enclosure. It kept the heat nice and contained in the winter and the shadows from the foliage cover and moisture kept it from being unbearable in the summer. It thermo regulated itself quite nicely. Whoever had built the weyr had been well aware of what they were doing. Half opening one whirling eye Onyth rumbled softly. Mine seems to plan on oiling me today. Would you like her to oil you as well? I promise she knows how to pay attention to all the best spots.
As she waited for him to respond in his own sleepy fashion Elysia let her eyes trace almost caressingly over S’rei’s frame finally letting them settle on the rise and fall of his chest. For a moment the greenrider debated turning up the seduction. Fanning that small spark that always seemed to exist between them to something other then a smolder. But alas, again not productive. There was no denying the near constant chemistry they had between them though. It was something the woman was still trying to get completely used to. Her only other true lover had been the bronzer’s son, though Elysia would readily admit to herself that Dmitri hadn’t held even half the attraction she felt for the older rider. With so little experience in relationships in general, even at a turn and a half into this one, she was still finding herself at a complete loss at times. Thankfully S’rei seemed to have near endless patience with her. A fact that continued to surprise the greenrider at times. Not that she was complaining. Not one bit. For once in her life Elysia was honestly….happy. It was admittedly an odd feeling.
When S’rei tightened his arm around her she growled against his neck, her teeth gently scraping against his throat in a display of slight dominance. The greenrider was aware of his eyes on her as always but chose to keep her face hovering near his neck for the moment. Though she pulled away from his throat slightly when he spoke again. No immediate comment was given on the topic of Mhir. Elysia didn’t really hate the salamandyr. But he brought up topics that the woman found herself very uncomfortable with solely because he existed. Shoal’s death had hit the bronzer pretty hard and she found herself unable to do much to help him. When S’rei got into one of those upset quiet moods about his boy the greenrider found herself feeling irrationally guilty that there was nothing she could do about it. Couldn’t even give him another child, despite claims to the contrary she had the sneaking suspicion that he did want another. But she couldn’t get pregnant, or rather wouldn’t, and maybe that was where some of the overwhelming guilt came in. At any rate before she could let the issue suck her in again Elysia spoke. “Oh that hardly matters. The point is you did.” Shifting she moved to straddle his stomach, resting her knees on either side of the man, her hands still resting on his chest. “And as such you need to pay for it.”
A slightly seductive smile was offered to S’rei in response to his question. “Yes. But this time around it’s soooo much fun.” Because there wasn’t a damn thing he could do about it but that was besides the point. Letting her hands roam along his chest Elysia half listened to his response. It didn’t make her happy. Bringing dark eyes back up to his face she gave him a pleading look and then pouted. “Well you should. If only for me.” Though she knew he wouldn’t. Shame. With a soft snort she shrugged. “I promised Onyth I’d oil her. If Salenth wants I’ll shine him up too. And in the process I’m sure I’ll end up with a fair share on myself as well.” Let him think about that all day while he was putting in his two cents about supply trains and who else to put on the council of drab. The greenrider didn’t even bother to try and stop the slight shiver that ran through her frame at his touch and she purred softly in her throat. Not bothering to adjust the towel still loosely wrapped about her Elysia let her fingers trace gently over his nipples. “How about you stay here with someone fun? You don’t really want to go to this meeting. In fact I think you feel a bit feverish.”

Onyth was greeted only with a rumble of agreement. Salenth didn't mind small talk so much, but that was for dragons that he knew less well than the one who often used him as a giant couch. Weather was not generally something that the large bronze took a great deal of interest in. Oiling, on the other hand, sounded quite good. Especially considering His hadn't gotten to it in awhile. (Onyth's didn't have nearly as much to occupy her time as His, either, and agreeing might actually give her something to do. See? He was really thinking about her. Not his hide. Riiiight.) I love a good oiling. If she's not as good as you say, you'll be sorry, though, the bronze added to Onyth, with a playful growl.
"Your logic is as dazzling as always," S'rei drawled, regarding the woman through his lashes. After this long together, the woman was well-used to his playful sarcasm. As if Elysia really needed an excuse; everyone knew she liked to tease people just for the attention. It seemed to feed her to have confirmation that she was attractive or something. S'rei was fine with it in theory. More than fine with it directed toward him, but it usually was directed toward anything male (with just a few exceptions). The bronzerider wasn't terribly jealous by nature, but that amount of attention-seeking wasn't something he wanted to actually see directed toward other men, he found. Perhaps because he knew what the next step was. While he believed that she wouldn't go cheating on him, he only believed it because he knew he gave her more than enough to satisfy her; he was equally convinced that the moment she felt like his attention was slipping she'd validate herself with someone else, just as she'd done to his son. That wasn't really something he wanted to be reminded of every time they were both near another man she felt the need to tease and flirt shamelessly with. Of course his irritation with it had the added effect of causing her to do it more. Fun.
Her pleading had no effect on S'rei. It never did. He knew it for the manipulation tactic it was. He also knew her too well to be swayed by pouts and whines. Definitely an act. And, sure enough, she immediately started in on another tactic, talking about how oily she'd get. Playing with his nipples, then trying to persuade him. Reaching down, he laced his fingers through hers and moved her hands down to his stomach, away from his chest which she liked to play with so much. Of course, that meant there was no way for either of them to adjust her towel so it wasn't giving him a very good view of her breasts. Win some, lose some.
"Nope. I don't really want to go to the meeting. But I think I'd prefer it to subjecting myself to your tortures all day," he concluded with a lopsided smile. Ah, the giant was finally fully awakening. Which meant...yes, Mhir was stirring. The small blue greeted the world with a chirring croon. "You can think of me while you're oiling my massive bronze. Hey, if you're lucky you may even win enough favor with him to get him to help you in cooking up some sort of retaliation for my refusing you today." S'rei gave Elysia a knowing wink.

Tilting her head slightly Onyth continued to regard Salenth though one whirling eye, amusement swirling through it’s jewel like facets. Sorry hmm? Well my dear bronze such a thing would probably depend on your ability to catch me. She teased in a playful tone, giving the tail entwined with hers a slight squeeze. Older though she was the green could be decidedly playful when the mood struck her. In fact one of her favorite activities was cavorting in the heated desert air with the bronze. It allowed him both to keep up with her and allow them both a full range of fun aerial maneuvers that would be lost to the larger male in other air spaces. Yes the desert was a wonderful playground. Not that Onyth minded flying with Salenth even outside of that desolate area. It was glaringly obvious that the dark colored female was as smitten with the dragon as hers seemed to be with the rider.
Ignoring the quip about her logic Elysia’s smile only got more wicked as her dark eyes flicked back to S’rei’s. Oh he was so asking for it. It was driving her a little crazy how at ease he seemed to be right now. What did she have to do to make him squirm a little hmm? Decidedly evil thoughts began to run through the greenrider’s head as she debated. Just a shift here or there and she could put some pressure on some rather ‘interesting’ areas. But was it worth it? That all depended on her level of frustration in comparison to the bronzer’s. A careful balance that Elysia was normally an expert at playing. In this ream she normally ruled. Normally. For some reason this time she was coming up short. Whether it was that S’rei was still waking or something else entirely she wasn’t sure. Regardless when the bronzer twined his fingers with hers and redirected her hands lower and to his stomach she slightly narrowed her eyes at him. Straightening slightly to let the towel slip even further down and display even more of her cleavage to him Elysia wrinkled her nose.
“So you find torture by an old woman and an asexual preferable to my torture? That’s such an ego boost. Thank you S’rei.” Elysia commented dryly, dark eyes remaining narrowed as they regarded the man beneath her. She ignored his smile in favor of switching her attention to Mhir as the little creature crooned. Refraining from growling at the little thing in return, her attention switched back to her weyrmate as he again spoke the sleepy quality having mostly left his voice. “Why ever would I think of you when I have a magnificent creature such as him to pay attention to?” The greenrider asked sweetly lifting her chin in a dismissive gesture. She also didn’t really need Salenth’s help to punish S’rei for his lack of a proper reaction to her request. Not that Elysia would deny the help if it was offered. But you see there in also lied the problem. What Salenth knew S’rei knew and vise versa. So his help probably would be the opposite of help anyway. Damn it.
Leaning forward the woman snapped her teeth inches from the bronzer’s nose. “Fine. Just remember that you asked for it.” Elysia said in a dangerous tone with the slightest hint of a hiss on the end. Ruffed feline was ruffled and he’d most certainly regret his choice later. Not in a way he’d completely enjoy either. Now she had a problem. S’rei still had her hands and she was now ready to escape him. “Suppose this means you are ready to get up and start your dull day no?” Loosening her grip on his hands the greenrider tried to untangle them from him, at the same time moving to leap off him and the bed. No more kitten for him.

A foreleg was placed over Onyth's neck, in effect 'capturing' her, as he responded with a croon, It would not be the first time I'd caught you, my little green. Salenth was playful enough for his age, but he couldn't be pressed upon to actually play with a creature who didn't give him some sort of challenge. The bronze had been flying far too long...even in normal airspace most greens were no match for him. Certainly none less than ten turns of age. That made his options rather limited. In the desert...there weren't many who could compete with him at all. The giants ruled the desert thermals.
Oh, well now she was beginning to play dirty. Much more and she'd lose that towel above the waist entirely. S'rei couldn't help a glance, but his eyes returned to her face directly as soon as she started talking again. The man grinned a bit wickedly. "Two is better than one?" If she was going to deliberately misconstrue what he'd said for a reaction, he'd just turn it back on her. Besides, Darya was about his own age. She or Iskierka might well have received attention from the man if he wasn't otherwise taken. He wasn't typically attracted to women as flat as Darya was but if they were talking physical types, Elysia wasn't his type, either. A lot more went into the selection of a mate than just anatomy.
As if he was going to let her just decide when she was going to bounce off. S'rei didn't tighten his grip on her hands, but he didn't loosen it either, instead tugging back at her just as she tugged away to throw her further off-balance. As soon as her upper body hit his chest his arms encircled her. The embrace wasn't tight but it was firm enough that she'd have a time of getting out of it. "No," he stated patiently. "You don't listen very well." The bronzerider dipped his head to nibble at the shell of her ear. "I said that I have wing drills mid-morning and the council after lunch. Were you distracted?"

Onyth rumbled in her chest as Salenth placed a foreleg over her neck. No. But don’t expect me to ever make it easy on you. She remarked tauntingly as she rolled to press her back feet (talons carefully turned inward so as not to hurt him) against the bronze’s side and shoved against it to try and pull herself free of his grasp. Large or not the green could still outmaneuver him, even if she was well aware she couldn’t ever overpower him, of this Onyth was confident. Salenth represented to her a challenge. The only bronze to ever out fly her. Indeed he had worked out a way to effectively trap her that flight and she had capitulated to him because of that. But that didn’t mean the green was going to ever go easy on him. Oh no. Onyth liked it when her males put up a fight for her. She wanted to be ‘caught’ not be forced to choose the one who was the most impressive but still had failed, in the end, to claim. Eyes whirled in excited shades as she playfully growled up at Salenth, her tail caressing over his as she unwound it and smacked it playfully against his flank. Come and try her bronze one.
Dark eyes flashed with something like borderline irritation at S’rei’s comment. That wicked smile clued Elysia into the fact that he was just teasing, but all the same. Narrowing her eyes, and regarding the bronzer from under her lashes, she continued her extraction from him. Well then, he could play with his council mates. See if she cared. The greenrider was just about confident of her escape when she felt her momentum being redirected. A rather embarrassing squeak of surprise left her throat before Elysia fell back against S’rei’s chest and his arms encircled her, effectively pinning her to him. A growl left her throat as she raked her nails down his sides none too gently, but not too hard either. The goal was not to really hurt the bronzer after all. Besides, not that she’d ever admit it aloud but, the greenrider got a certain thrill when she had to struggle against him. It was fun. A challenge.
Suppressing a shiver as he began to nibble at her ear Elysia let her hands rest on S’rei’s hips holding onto him there as she tried to redirect her thoughts away from how good his teeth felt. “I listen just fine.” She growled softly back. “I had drills early morning. What time do you think it is Rei? You’ve been dozing the morning away.” As she spoke Elysia shifted her body to subtlety meld it to his, pressing her hips down into the bronzer’s, her tone changing into a rough purr. “I think it’s you that has the problem with distraction.” Or should have now more like. Caressing briefly over the points of his hips she let her fingertips slowly trail back up S’rei’s sides. A wicked smile painted her lips. “I still think you feel rather feverish. Delirious yet love?” Lets see how long he wanted to keep her trapped now.

Salenth rumbled a playful growl at her that sounded more like amusement than growl. He lifted his foreleg ever so slightly when she pushed against him, just to make sure that her ploy was successful so that he could have the fun of pinning her again. You'd disappoint me greatly if you ever did, he commented lightly, rolling to his feet as her tail smacked him and pouncing at her. Immediately he dropped as much of his weight as he felt necessary to keep her beneath him and ran his tongue up her neck.
Nails down his sides made the man laugh. Almost as if he was being tickled. Was that supposed to get him to let her go? It certainly wasn't painful enough to force him to release her, or even make him reconsider for the space of a moment. "It's two candlemarks still before my drills, and four before we usually take lunch." He nipped the tip of her nose. "Your drills are really early. Ours aren't."
Inhaling in what could only be described as a way to control himself, S'rei's eyes slid half-closed. Men really were at a disadvantage in this game, he decided, not for the first time. Must be the great equalizer or something. Faranth knew men had the advantage in almost every other arena, but certainly not the one of physical attraction when it couldn't be acted on. Oh well. No sense dwelling on that truth.
The bronzerider slapped her ass hard enough to make sure she felt it - though no harder - and rolled her off him and onto her back, slipping out of bed and taking her towel with him. He tossed it over the chair near the table and scrounged for a pair of pants. "Yes, well, I think that the cure for that is a nice productive day somewhere else," he commented, flashing a smile back over his shoulder at the woman sprawled in his furs.

Ah hah! Free. As she pulled free of the bronze’s grip the green rolled to her feet. If Onyth sought to gloat that her tail had hit it’s intended target the thought quickly fled her mind as Salenth pounced at her. A surprised chirp left the female as she tried to backpedal to avoid the large male. Unfortunately she wasn’t quite quick enough and in short order Onyth found herself sprawled beneath the bronze. Whirling eyes narrowed slightly as she gazed up at him, baring her teeth in a playful snarl as she tried to squirm away from her mate. When Salenth’s tongue ran up her neck she rumbled up at him her tail caressing along his underbelly as it sought to find a ticklish area. Anything to try and remove him. Shoving against him would obviously do her no good. The green squirmed again as her tail continued it’s search. So you seem to have caught me. What do you plan now handsome?
Elysia growled softly as S’rei nipped her nose. “Oh really? Well then we have quite a bit of time still then don’t we?” Eyes half lidding as he inhaled she couldn’t help but grin. “Having some issues?” Came the softly murmured question, the greenrider’s tone just a tad bit smug. It was hardly a question that needed a verbal answer when they were pressed this close. The swat to her ass was unexpected and she jumped a little in response laughing as he rolled her off him. Her gaze traveled to the bronzer, caressing his form as he stole her towel and searched for a pair of pants. Wriggling slightly in the furs Elysia stretched as slow and sensually as she could, not even bothering to attempt to cover up. He took her towel after all. A soft sigh left her throat as he man spoke and she wrinkled her nose at him.
When she finally spoke the greenrider’s tone sounded both victorious and yet a slight bit disappointed. “Sounds like you have it all figured out then.” Even though she wouldn’t admit it aloud it would have been nice to be held for a little bit longer. Even though she had won there was obviously that downside. Propping herself up on her elbows Elysia watched S’rei quietly for a few moments and then flopped back onto the bed.
“Infuriating man. You are very lucky I love you.” Turning her head so that she could keep him in sight she rolled over on her side and smoothed her hand over the fur beneath her. “How can I convince you to come back?” Raising one eyebrow she smiled. “Breakfast in bed would also be nice?” Hey can’t blame a girl for trying.

Plans? What do I need plans for? I think I'm just going to enjoy my victory and the squirming, the male returned smugly. Of course, he'd only won because he was big and she was small, but that wasn't about to rain on his parade. Not one bit. Settling a bit more firmly on top of her, he nudged at her head. What are you looking for? he questioned, as her tail continued to quest over his underbelly. Onyth was always up to something, after all.
S'rei was only half paying attention to the woman stretching in his furs. Which was to say he'd be paying no attention at all if he were smart, but he couldn't quite keep himself from not noticing at all. Unsurprisingly. Fortunately Elysia was very good at giving him distractions from herself by being a bratty little thing. "That's some sort of threat, is it? I'm curious...what would you do if you didn't love me as you say?"
Well he knew she probably hadn't even thought about it. The words were just something to say, and something she said quite often indeed. He cocked his head to one side slightly at her question, considering, but the next thing she said couldn't help but make him smile a little. Really? Well, there was something to be said for playing oblivious. "I think that would go a long way, yes. I'd love to have breakfast in bed."
So saying, he tossed her the shirt he'd been about to put on, raising a brow. "Well? What are you waiting for?" She really should be more specific. Mhir crooned to her as well. Yums? "Oh, and would you get something for Mhir, too? Amour, Baron, if you want an oil I'm oiling Mhir," he added, knowing they were within hearing distance if nothing else as he took down the jar of oil from the shelf. Salamandyrs didn't need it as bad as growing flits, but it was still a fairly frequent process while they were still growing.

Onyth regarded the smug Salenth, her muzzle wrinkling playfully as her eyes whirled just a touch faster, her growl deepening. Enjoy your victory while you can handsome. Because if she had it her way it would be short lived. That all depended on the off chance that the green could find a sensitive area though. Her tail renewed it’s quest as the smaller female tried to throw the bronze off of her intentions by renewing her squirming. It seemed a tad bit distracting to him so if she could keep his attention on that maybe she had a shot to one up him for once. Unfortunately Onyth’s squirms were quickly arrested by the addition of more of Salenth’s weight. Not that that stopped her questing tail. When he nudged at her head the green quickly licked his muzzle and practically purred underneath him. You’ll see...Maybe. There was a good chance that she would not find what she was looking for. But if it was there, she would find it. The female renewed her efforts her tail caressing teasingly along the inner areas of the bronze’s back legs, up along where his tail met his body, along his underbelly, and in any other spot that she thought might be particularly sensitive. All the while a playful growl resonated through her chest the sound doing nothing to hide the contented colors swirling though her gaze.
His eyes where addicting. Was Elysia’s first thought as they briefly caressed over her. Not only because of their color but because of their intensity. Especially when S’rei was pulling that cocky playful crap. Faranth but she adored him for it. Not that the greenrider was going to let that show. No instead she kept up her almost feline like squirming amongst the soft furs underneath her, playing as if she was only half listening to him for the moment. Rolling onto her stomach Elysia tilted her head slightly to look up at him as if she was seriously considering his question. “Threat? More like a statement Bronzer.” An almost playful expression touched the smile she offered S’rei. “What would I do…” Her finger smoothed absently through the fur beneath her hand before the woman continued. “I suppose you wouldn’t have a bed warmer anymore. At least not a nice one.” Dark eyes narrowed slightly upon the bronzer on the last statement. Idle threat perhaps. But he didn’t have to know that.
Apparently though S’rei wasn’t interested or believing her threats because the next moment he was tossing his shirt at her and Elysia raised an eyebrow at the words accompanying the article of clothing. “Most people would love breakfast in bed.” She responded with a soft growl. “That wasn’t an offer and you well know it.” The slight irritation was now clear in her tone when the bronzer continued by asking what she was waiting for. As if she was going to travel all the way to the damn kitchens to fetch him breakfast. Yeah not happening, and he knew it. When Mhir spoke to her the greenrider raised a brow. If Elysia was going to respond to the mandyr though the desire quickly fled in favor of her eyes and irritation going straight back to S’rei. “Kind of hard to get your worm food when I have no intentions of fetching anything. Nor leaving this bed. You are still out of luck.” The words where spoken with just a tad more irritation leaking into the tone. “Do I look like a drudge to you?” She continued as she slipped the large shirt over her head and crossed her arms.
If Elysia was going to complain further she was cut off by the trill and wing beats of two very enthusiastic firelizards. Baron alighted on the bedpost and folded his wings, chirping once in a pleasant tone to S’rei, content to wait his turn as always. Amour was much less calm and nearly impacted with the bronzer’s head as he banked and half collided with the man’s shoulder. He was mindful enough of his claws at least as he rubbed in clear adoration against S’rei’s neck, crooning lovingly as he stretched his neck forward to give a loving lick to the man’s jaw. The greenrider wrinkled her nose at the antics of her youngest pet. “I swear if he could make love to you he would. Why don’t you ask him to get your breakfast?” Because clearly she was still not doing it.

Oh, I most certainly will, he returned, his amusement practically palpable. Yes, he most definitely would enjoy his victory for as long as it was his. And, if he had any say over it, that would be for awhile yet. (Of course, he considered having a permanent green a victory in and of itself, so that had the potential of lasting for many turns yet. If she didn't get jealous when he inevitably chased the golds.) He was in the process of washing her head and neck with his tongue when he stiffened slightly. The questing tail had found a sensitive spot. It brushed over it swiftly, however, and it seemed she might not have noticed, because it moved on to other places. You are a comfortable couch, did I mention?
Yes, he'd certainly dismissed her threat. To his credit, he hadn't laughed at it, though it was something of a struggle to keep that reaction from his face. They had their mock power struggles. It was all part of the dynamic of the relationship, and probably in some way allowed Elysia to be content with a bronzer for a weyrmate. She loved her control, did the greenrider. They were both bound, though. Hand and foot. This woman was his and unlikely to risk losing that despite her occasional meltdowns. She wasn't going to disappear anytime soon. (He didn't even have to try. Els had a habit of returning to his furs the same night when he called her bluffs.)
A glance was directed her way as the flits responded to her offer. "Salamandyr, 'mandyr or Mhir, if you don't mind." There was nothing teasing about that correction. Mhir had almost been named Shoal. He was so childlike, and on the heels of the confirmed loss of the only child S'rei had planned for and been there to deliver, with the certain knowledge that this woman would never want to have a child (his or anyone else's), the blue had almost become a substitute for the lost infant. Worm was not an appropriate designation for him.
He couldn't help but smile at Amour's enthusiasm. "Good idea. Babies first," the bronzerider added to the brown, even as he stroked him with no small amount of affection. Amour and Baron had grown on him during Elysia's incarceration. Amazingly enough. "Why don't you go get breakfast for us, mi amore? Don't forget treats for you, Baron and the baby. That's a good boy." Yums? S'rei chuckled. "Yes, Mhir, I know you're hungry." The blue crooned in response and sprawled on his back, limbs splayed. Ready for oils!
Fingers delicately massaged the oils into his little mandyr's hide while he glanced sidelong at his squirmy woman in the furs. "So getting you breakfast is perfectly fine but if you do it, it's drudge work? Nice to know where I fall in the pecking order," he commented teasingly. Then, a touch more seriously, "If you're really good, little lady, you might get a few more cuddles before I go to work." The enforced celibacy was harder on S'rei, naturally, than on Elysia. Not that he often brought attention to that. He'd reached a point where it wasn't very fun for him, the teasing. Not beyond a couple stray touches or comments.

Another soft growl that was just edging on a purr followed Salenth’s amused comment. He found this funny did he? Onyth was tempted to call her bronze a fatty but that would be a lie. Solid was far more accurate. The green attempted to squirm more but sadly she didn’t get very far. He had her pinned too well. It was almost all too easy to just submit to Salenth’s ministrations. The caresses of his tongue didn’t feel bad after all. In fact they were almost comforting in a sense. As the first set of her lids started to close over her whirling eyes Onyth relaxed more beneath him. Then, just as she was starting to actually accept the fact that she might be truly trapped, she felt Salenth stiffen. Ah! There. The green let her tail move away from the spot she found quickly. No sense in letting him actually know that she had found what she was looking for. Let him have his false sense of security for a little while longer.
When the bronze spoke again the female practically purred. Not that I remember? I think you make a far better one however. Oh yes Onyth was quite fond of using Salenth as a living couch, sprawling completely on top of him and melding into his living form as much as physically possible. She got the best sleep that way. The feeling of him breathing was quite soothing. If the bronze found her sleeping on him uncomfortable he’d never complained. At any rate Salenth had had enough fun by her reckoning. With a far too sweet and pleasant croon Onyth moved her tail back to flick it teasingly back and forth over that sensitive spot she had found on his underside. Tell me, my darling captor. Are you ticklish? She asked in a slightly wicked sounding tone, just the right amount of smugness blended in. Perhaps she might win this one after all.
Elysia’s eyes narrowed on S’rei at the correction. Sometimes she wondered if he didn’t love that little creature more then her. Not that she’d ever say it out loud. Not yet anyway. The greenrider was well known for her jealousy. So even if she did mention it at some point it might not come as a surprise to the bronzer. Maybe. At any rate mock power struggles was usually right, but the pair did actually fight every once and awhile. It usually culminated in one or the other storming out in a huff and returning later. Where upon somehow they always ended up wrapped up together in bed. How it happened that way every time Elysia had no clue. Especially when once S’rei had actually been pissed enough to fling a wine glass at the wall. That night had been the only time she had ever been honestly terrified of him. And yet here she still was. Yes it was that desire to avoid an actual altercation, above all else, that kept the woman silent as to the correction on what to call the mandyr. She’d let this one drop.
Amour arched his back against S’rei’s hand a soft rumbling purr starting in his throat as the first transparent membrane fell over his eyes. A soft caressing croon left his throat as the man spoke, his tail briefly wrapping about the bronzer’s throat. Loved this man he did. Not as much as his gold, but she had snagged herself a very nice bronze. He approved. Now if only he could get them to reproduce. He wasn’t sure why there was a lull in mating activity but this had to fix yes? He needed a baby. Why this was hard for his to understand that he didn’t know. The baby first comment cause him to cheep a little sadly but he understood he did. He loved babies. Even Mhir and he crooned down at the little mandyr before tilting his head at S’rei. Wings flared briefly as he brushed an acknowledgment against the man’s mind in response to the command. Food? He could order food. Without further ado the small brown launched himself from the bronzer’s shoulder and slipped between.
Elysia snorted softly as her youngest pet disappeared. “Here’s hoping he doesn’t get distracted by something in the dining hall or we certainly won’t be eating this morning.” She commented mostly to herself as she extended an arm towards Baron. As she waited for the firelizard to obey, as usual, the greenrider listened in silence to S’rei. “Hey I never said you had to get me breakfast. I was hinting that I would like you too. You were the one making commands of me as if I was some obedient servant. I think we both know that I am about as far from a servant as you can get.” When Baron finally alighted into her arm she pulled her arm closer to her chest and stroked along his spine, scratching briefly between his wings and earning a soft croon of pleasure from the creature.
S'rei's next comment caused Elysia to raise an eyebrow. “Little lady? Really?” Though to be fair she supposed she was quite small in comparison to the bronzer. “Trying to bribe me hmm? You would have a better shot in getting good behavior with promises of food at this point I think.” Because yes Elysia was starving. Legatus wing drills were long and she hadn’t eaten beforehand. Which was making her just a tad bit cranky now. “You won’t even spend time with me. Why should I want your cuddles?” She added wrinkling her nose at him and releasing Baron who fluttered again to perch on the bedpost and absently watch Mhir’s oiling.
