It was another wonderfully clear night the stars and moons seeming all the brighter, probably in part because of the temperature. Being January of course the air had a bit of a chill to it. Nothing like the north of course but for the south chilly enough. Erilena glanced back at Dmitri and offered him a warm smile. If there was a bit of nervousness to the gesture she was really hoping he wouldn’t notice. Tonight was special. Or rather it was going to be. The greenrider just really hoped that he’d like it. It was all for him after all. For a moment she half skipped ahead of the taller handler before twirling around him. Despite the cold she had chosen to wear a long red skirt that fell to her ankles, though she at least had on a longer sleeved shirt and decent shoes. Even brought a jacket just in case.
Falling back into step beside Dmitri, Erilena reached out to snare his hand. It served two purposes. One she wanted to be touching and two if the greenrider was holding his hand the harper couldn’t exactly run off. Well not without dragging her along with him anyway. At the very least she’d slow him down? “Thanks for humoring me with a walk.” She said brightly twining her fingers through his before suddenly moving in front of Dmitri and tugging lightly. “Come this way. I want to show you something. Promise it won’t take long.” Hazel eyes met his blue grey ones, the look in them partially pleading. Just a little further.
Slipping off the path and into the jungle itself, Erilena had Feyrianth give a mental warning for everyone to hush before she lead Dmitri into the clearing that they used to practice dancing in once upon a time. It was more then big enough to hold the small grouping of people she had invited and their whers if they so chose, thus perfect. The whole clearing had been strung up with glows, large logs set out as makeshift tables for food that her and Nautic and a few others had prepared while smaller logs acted like stools for sitting on. Using his surprise to pull the harper further into the clearing she turned to him and smiled. “Happy Turnday Dmitri.” Happy Turnday Dancer~ Feyrianth chimed in from her position at the back of the clearing where she was sprawled out with a few of the whers who has chosen to join their bondeds.
Standing on tiptoes to kiss Dmitri’s cheek Erilena squeezed his hand. “Wouldn’t be a party without the guest of honor. You should go say hi to all your friends.” With those soft words she let go of his hand to gently nudge him forward towards the tables and waiting people. She had invited all the handlers in the end, and anyone else she could think of that the harper was close to. Couldn’t think of any daylighters but Raebeli unfortunately. It was a shame that R’ven and Dmitri's father were no longer around. But in the end that really couldn’t be helped. Still it was a decent enough turnout, not that the greenrider had expected any less. Dmitri, for all his attitude, was an very likable man.
(Darmori is also around if someone wants to interact with him)

Swisk had wanted to come. Insisted, in his silent manner, on coming actually. There had been far too few reasons to celebrate in the past few turns, and he enjoyed being among the other whers when he had the chance. So Swithin had entertained the greenrider Erilena's invitation to a surprise party for Dmitri. The tall handler was nothing spectacular to look at as he arrived - early of course so as to be there when Dmitri showed up. His long legs were clad in simple black pants. Black boots were worn on his feet. His torso was covered with a light grey-blue undershirt (the color, oddly enough, seemed to match Swisk's hide), on top of it was a loose fitting black jacket which was half undone.
His frail blue had bounded through the jungle path ahead of him, almost tripping on some upturned roots. Shaking his head Swithin just followed the wher. Once in the clearing Swisk had waddle-walked his way over to the Green dragon and crooned happily in greeting. This was nice, wasn't it?
Tossing the small present he'd brought - it was custom to bring presents to turnday events, wasn't it? - on a makeshift table he went to linger near a small group of other handlers he recognized. "Nice evening for this, aye?" He said in a hushed tone, not sure when Dmitri was going to show up with his escort. Just after he'd spoken though, the dragon told them all to hush and he eyed the path leading in.
First he saw the greenrider, and then Dmitri. Smiling he nodded to the other handler, "Happy turnday Dmitri!"

"Mom, stop it. Mom! Mom! Stop!" He swatted away the woman's hand as it came around to preen him a little more. "I look fabulous mom. Its fine. You look nice too. Everyone will love your food. I mean look, people are already snacking on some of the appetizers." The Greenhandler glanced downward at his clothes, making sure nothing had yet gotten on to his tight, white pants or his light brown jacket. It was cold, so he had picked the one with the white fur around the collar. The shirtails of his navy blue dress tunic stuck out from under the jacket, but he wasn't too concerned with them, the tunic was dark enough to not show very much staining.
Naura shifted to look at the gathering of people, eying one of the boys as they moved to look at the more substantial courses. "Oh honeybaby, I know. But I left your father with to his own devices tonight. I'm sure that he'll just stab himself with a needle or something if I'm not there." Wavy brown hair bounced slightly as she focused her gaze on her son. Although Nautic hadn't inherited her hair color, her nose or her eyes, just about everything else was hers. Licking her thumb she reached out to try and tame some of her son's already combed hair.
"Mom! Ugh. I heard Marina might be around go find her or something! I'm perfectly capable of keeping myself looking good. Shoo!" The Greenrider fluttered his hands playfully at his mother, giving his mother her own "Im-being-stern-with-you-right-now" face. Which, in turn, made Naura laugh and run along. He watched as she swatted a spoon at a Wherhandler's hand, no one could touch the main courses until Dmitri was there. His mom would make sure of it. Running his fingers through his hair and flicking his bangs off to the side, the Greenhandler pushed off the table and wondered over to Nautsk, flopping slightly onto her side.
Oh waiting was surely the hardest part of the whole thing. He and Eri had been hard at work planning this party, hopefully she'd be able to 1) convince Demi to come with her and 2) get him to stay. Well, there was plan B. He'd send Nautsk after the man if he decided to bolt and no one ever escaped the female. Sighing, Nautic pushed off his largest mindmate and walked up to her head, giving her a kiss on the nose as both Absinthe and Tizzy moved onto the Wher's head to greet him. "Abby, I expect you to behave. No getting drunk, I expect to drink tonight so I don't want to compound the tipsiness." The Salamandyr lay down and crossed her legs, eyes narrowing making her look mischievous. No worry, prettyminelove. I promise. "Is it wrong that I don't believe you..." Absinthe merely flicked her frill in amusement.
Suddenly Nautsk lit up. Oh, oh! They were coming, they were coming! Everyone get ready! Oh this would be such a basket full of fun! Raising to her feet - carefully so as not to disturb her riders- the small Green trundled over to the rest of the Whers. She squeezed herself between two of her siblings and resisted the urge to rumble in happiness.
Having been left by all of his mindmates, Nautic wondered back over to the group of people and practically draped himself on Zemaren. The younger Brownhandler was so used to it by now he simply sighed and supported the Minekeeper. Where was Eikane? That man needed to take Nautic away... "I need to play music you know..."
When Erilena and Dmitri arrived, Nautic waved enthusiastically before settling down. "You can have your body back when I find someone else to talk to. Which will probably be Demi." Raising his voice he called out to Dmitri. "I MADE YOU THE SOUP. SO YOU BETTER STAY LONG ENOUGH TO EAT IT." He added a cheerful, summoning wave. He waited a moment before pushing off of Zemaren, giving him a dismissing wave, and moved along the line of people toward the food. He stopped by Swithin and gave the man a pat on the shoulder. "It is a nice night isn't it? Glad you could make it! Its nice when there's a good turn out, no? All the more chances that this party will turn into something really fun!" --
Sighing deeply, Zemaren touched his Brown's mind before wondering over to the area the Greenies had set up for playing music. Erilena had asked him herself to play at least once during the party, but in the end he realized he'd probably be playing for most of it. Propping a foot up on a log, he took Vivian out of her case and tucked her under his chin. Resting the bow lightly on her strings, he inhaled before striking up a jaunty tune. He would gladly take requests as long as he knew it. Hopefully, a certain Goldhandler would join along with his harp sometime during the night. Although a Violin alone was a pretty sound, coupled with another string made the music even better.
(Zemask is somewhere around Nautsk for reference)

Roivao wasn't much for parties anymore. In fact, he was fairly sure he was the last person most people would want at a party. Still, it was hard to say 'no' to Erilena, especially for Dmitri. Roi may not have been close to the man, but he was a fellow handler, and perhaps even a friend. Roisk insisted they should attend, if only not to be rude. The big bronze soon found a place to hide and Tiida took her possessive place at Roi's neck. Even Puddleglum came, fascinated by the odd gathering of people and hoping he might see Three.
Roisk roared his happy approval as the lucky man arrived, while Roi offered a sheepish wave and a small smile. "Happy Turnday, Dmitri," he offered quietly when he got a chance. Tiida frilled appreciatively, but thankfully remained silent. Puddleglum lurk in a tree above. No one ever gather such a party for him. Well, he was unloved. It was to be expected.
~
Porita lurked in the back as Posk bounded forward to join the happy group. She wasn't much for socializing. She probably wouldn't even have come if Posk hadn't been so excited by the invitation. She barely knew Dmitri and still regarded him with the shy fear she reserved for most men, except the few she trusted. Even so, it was nice to see everyone smiling for once. Neyki circled curiously, but everyone was far too happy for her taste and she was quickly growing bored.

Yoalla watched with mild bemusement, as well as total amusement, as Nautic was preened by his mother. She shook her head just a little as the other greenhandler shooed of his mother and began preening himself. Parents; they were enough to make her grateful she was an orphan, although no parent in Bitra would ever act like that woman, life was too hard to keep such a cheerful outlook in what was arguable the worst part of the north.
Looking around the gathering with sharp cynical eyes Yoalla could see very little to complain about, except that Nautic’s mother was a quick one with those long handled spoons. Well, actually she wasn’t much of a social person, and therefore probably shouldn’t even be at a party, one of the most social events imaginable. But she’d found it hard to say no to the strange greenrider (what was it with these male handlers and greenriders, and was Yoalla missing out on something?), and besides the handlers of Yosk’s siblings were as close to a family as Yoalla wanted to have, which made Dmitri her annoying little brother, even though he was a foot taller than her (which made him more annoying) so here she was.
Yoalla brushed gently against her wher’s consciousness, making sure Yosk was still alright. Yosk replied cheerfully that of course she was, she was here with lovely Nautsk, so people would never notice her behind such beauty. Yoalla snorted, there was no point in arguing with Yosk sometimes. Fortunately Yoalla was saved from this futile exercise by Dmitri’s arrival. Yoalla just gave a wave for now, she was sure she’d get to talk to Dmitri eventually. Yoalla’s mindmates however were not as reserved about expressing themselves. Lao trilled sweetly as he fluttered across the clearing, dropped a tiny half closed flower on Dmirti (Yoalla never knew where Lao was coming up with flowers at this time of year but that was the ‘green’ for you) and the unholy horror that was The Devil flared her frill once and offered a cry of Happyhappy SOUP! Stay. The unusually friendly greeting to a human was solely based on the fact that Dmitri was Dementia’s pet and the green had a lifetime obsession with stalking shiny salamandyrs. Denial at least was too busy plotting to get into the food at the first chance she had to do anything, and in area with this many people around she wouldn’t chance attempting to eat a salamandyr. Who? Denial? Never!

Raebeli, was of course in attendance. She really had no choice since she wasn't going to allow herself not to show up, this was her friend of course and she wouldn't miss this for the world. Even if it was night... and she was sleepy... and other than Erilena she was the only daywalker among them. That was ok! Wherhandlers were exactly her element anyway, and she had assimilated into the crowd well, standing out by virtue of the fact that she was Rae and was clinging to a little black kettle that Demi should very well recognize as one that he had once gifted to her. Otherwise she appeared much like the others, dressed to the nines with spotted fur even elegantly lining the lapels of her hunter green jacket and complimenting the shimmery brown of her skirt. Her hair was due for a cut, but primped enough with a familiar white bone comb situated in the dark brunette nest. Too bad Quixoth stuck out like a sore thumb, sitting off to the side and shining in the moonlight, she watched the proceeding with rapt interest... her night vision was not going to miss a thing.
Bubbling with excitement, the mindhealer had to manually clamp her mouth shut with a firm hand as she saw the bluehandler approach the clearing. Here he comesssss~ here he comessssssss~ HERE HE ISSSSSSSS!!!! she said in her sing song voice to her bonded before blurting out with the rest of the crowd, "Happy Turnday Demi!" Not to mention the fact that she immediately began bobbing up and down and those spring loaded feet of hers, obviously impatient to not only show off her contribution to the banquet, but to show off her fastidious practice. Yes! She had been working long and hard on how not to burn water, and this was the evidence to prove it. If she knew Dmitri at all, she knew that he would be proud, and quickly ambled over with the concoction into the line of well-wishes.
She tilted the pot ever so slightly as she edged forward as to give a good view of the yellowy, gooey, contents. If it hadn't already been guessed, she made sure to announce the fact that she officially could now cook just as well as the average twelve turn old, "Guess what! I've been practicing! I've made you some macaroni and cheese.... look see!" She pushed the kettle forward gently enough, her very expression swelling with pride, "I made it just for your Turnday! I do hope you give it a try and like it... I don't think I burned it... I don't think?" There... honestly wasn't a whole lot of confidence in the trailing end of her statement, but her smile was disarming enough. She pulled her prize back for a moment and motioned to the table where the rest of the dining spread was laid out, "I'm going to go put this down over there, and give you a chance to say hi to everyone else..." All cheery like as per usual she squinted her eyes closed and wrinkled her nose before bouncing off to set down her "delicious" dish.

He should have had some inkling what was up, or at least what it pertained to...but Dmitri honestly had forgotten. Turndays were not the most important thing to him, after all. He had work and greenriders and golds with clutches and other such things that took precedence. So it was that they actually did completely surprise him. Even if he'd remembered what today was...well, Dmitri might have expected something from Erilena and maybe a gift or three from some of his other friends. At least well wishes. But certainly not this.
The bluehandler found himself standing in the middle of a crowd, blinking around at them rather blankly. Erilena, Darmori, Swithin, Nautic, Zemaren, Roivao, Porita, Yoalla, Raebeli, Ximera...this thing was so huge he was a bit shocked they'd managed to all keep it from him. (And that all of them would come to this thing. Then he felt himself being nudged toward the tables just as Nautic cried out about soup.
He drifted toward them, obviously still not quite recovered from this surprise party sprung on him, when Raebeli was suddenly in front of him and Yoalla's bronze dropped a flower on his head. Dmitri caught the flower and silently tucked it behind Raebeli's ear (he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do with it) while he stared at the gooey cheese mess that had taken over the pot he'd gifted her.
"Yes, I'll have to try it," he agreed a bit dubiously, but he flashed her a smile anyway, going over to the table to poke at Nautic's soup and Raebeli's Surprise. Which brought him near Nautic, Swithin and Roivao. The former he mock-scowled at while he looped an arm around the latter's shoulders. "What are you doing facilitating Lena? I know it's the two of you who masterminded this." He directed a pointed look at the retreating Naura. "Not that I'm complaining, mind you. At least not now that my ears have stopped ringing." A smile was directed to Swithin. "I hope the midget didn't bully you into this."
It was not to the majority of the whers that Dmisk first appeared, but rather Yosk. He knew that his shy sister was unlikely to be in the crowd. The male nudged against her gently. How as his beautiful clutchsister tonight? Dmisk circled around her until he'd encompassed her completely in a protective gesture and sunk to the ground, his head on his forelegs. The blue watched the milling humans.

Erilena really couldn’t have been happier with the turnout and the whole thing in general. It had gone better then even she had expected it to. Plus from the look on Dmitri’s face he had honestly been shocked. That was the best part. Bouncing slightly on her feet as everyone greeted him the greenrider watched the handler move off toward his friends before moving off herself. No sense in hovering around him. She’d capture him later for a dance. For now she decided she might as well find someone to chat to, maybe get some food. Nearing the tables she smiled at Naura and offered her a hug and thanks before throwing a bright smile in Nautic’s direction and blowing him a kiss. Couldn’t have done this without him. Making a couple plates, and balancing a drink on them for good measure, she paused.
A quick glance around before Erilena decided who to head towards. It was Yoalla who caught her eye first. Making her way over towards the other woman she offered the greenhandler a bright smile and a plate complete with drink before sitting down next to her. “You don’t mind some company do you?” She asked Yoalla before smiling at The Devil and offering the small green a piece of wherry from her own plate. The greenrider wasn’t all that fond of mandyrs and certainly wouldn’t have one herself ever again, but after living with Dementia you tended to get used to them. In fact she had even found herself missing the gold when the creature was absent. Gaze going back to Yoalla Erilena gave a small smile. “Thanks for coming. I really haven’t gotten much of a chance to speak to more then a handful of you at any given time. You bonded to one of Dmisk’s sisters didn’t you?” Good conversation start right?
Feyrianth crooned happily to the little whers around her. Oh they were all just simply wonderful. Such pleasant personalities all her cousins had. When Swisk approached her she offered the frail little blue a return croon of greeting before addressing him happily. Oh yes! So very nice to be amongst such nice company. I am Feyrianth. But you may call me Fey if you want to. Or Ladygreen. Batting her eyelids playfully at him she rumbled. Feeling right at home amongst the denizens of the night the four winged green wiggled closer to the whers and gave them each a warm greeting.
Quite content and sure that she had greeted them all properly, including Dmisk, Feyrianth reached out to brush lightly against Quixoth’s mind. You may come lay closer to me if you wish sister? I do not mind the company. You just might want to be careful of the smaller nightwalkers. With that she lowered her head to nuzzle at Nautsk and twitched the tip of her tail for Darmosk to playfully bat at.

Swisk crooned and nosed against the larger Green dragon. She was very sweet, this Ladygreen. He was glad for her company. Then dear Yosk showed up - as lovely as Fey was, Yosk was definitely much more so in Swisk's mind. He crooned to the younger Green, wouldn't she come over to him?
Swithin nodded to everyone who greeted him, trying to keep track of everyone in his head. It'd been so long since he'd been around so many different people he found he was having a hard time remembering their names. Shards and shells, why had he let himself become such a shut in? He wasn't the 'loner' type, yet he certainly had acted like it and now felt like and outsider among all these other handlers. Well at least Swisk seemed to feel at home, and for that Swithin was very grateful. When Dmitri wandered closer to where he was standing he offered a grin, "No bullying needed, I came of my own accord. Happy Turnday."
He watched as the others mingled and decided to look around at the food. It looked pretty tasty, most of it anyways. Picking up a few choice samples he made his way to one of the make-shift tables and sat down by himself to nibble at the meal.

Yoalla produced a half smile for the way the rather enthusiastic daylighter presented her alleged macaroni and cheese. Whether it was burned or not was a matter for further investigation, simply because the girl didn’t seem too sure herself. How could you be confused about that? Lao’s flower ended up adorning that girl, something with which the bronze seemed inordinately pleased; it didn’t take much to please Lao sometimes.
To judge by his actions, and his expression when he’d first entered this clearing, Dmitri was actually surprised by this party and even pleased. Obviously Erilena and Nautic were well hidden masters of secrecy. Yoalla decided that she’d wait for the people around the tables to dissipate and then go and seriously investigate what food was available. In the meantime she was content to watch everyone (everyone mostly being everyone who was a wher or dragon) socialise.
It came as something of a surprise to Yoalla, when she looked away from the double winged dragon who seemed so pleased to be around the whers, to find Erilena stood in front of her, particularly since she’d thought the greenrider would still be at Dmitri’s side. A thoughtful frown crossed the wherhandler’s face as she thought on this and decided there was no reason for a relationship between two people to mean they were joined at the hip. ‘Not at all.’ Yoalla finally answered, reflecting that she’d let that pause slip on a bit too long, and accepted both food and drink. ‘I was just thinking that you must have an amazing talent for keeping secrets, Dmitri looked stunned so I assume he had no idea.’ The greenhandler’s comment held a pleased tone even though all she’d really done was turn up.
Yoalla kept an eye on her salamandyr but The Devil seemed to be on good behaviour tonight, maybe it was to impress and shiny salamandyrs that might be around, and contented herself with snatching at the offered food and scampering away with it. ‘Yes, that’s Yosk over there next to Dmisk.’ Yoalla was so used to The Devil that she barely noticed the green’s behaviour when she wasn’t biting or repeating things she learned from Shells. ‘I can’t help noticing your green seems to like whers a bit more than most dragons.’ She added indicating Feyrianth and her smaller companions. ‘Thinking of joining the dark side?’ The wherhandler teased.
Yosk snorted and stepped sideways before she realised it was Dmisk who’d come up beside her. So sneaky her brother was, he should really learn to make some noise. Despite the mock scolding thought (Dmisk was safe enough to tease), the green nuzzled her head against Dmisk’s shoulder in a purely affectionate gesture. Had Dmisk seen Nautsk? So very excited by this their green sister was. Had they really managed to surprise Dmisk’s? Yosk wasn’t quite sure why that was so important but everyone seemed to be intent on it.
Swisk’s call made Yosk pick her head up and look anxiously between her mate and her brother, not wanting to upset either of them. After a moment’s thought, in which Yosk’s eye colours swirled anxiously, the green had an idea and tapped Dmisk on the flank with her tail as she rose. Come and meet Swisk, she suggested.

If Piden couldn't be early, he could be fashionably late. In fact it was pretty much a requirement here - he'd helped Nautic and Erilena with the decorations and set-up, after all, despite their protests. Of course it wouldn't do to be too obvious when the guest of honor arrived, given their... tumultous relationship, and Piden's reputation as a lazy hedonist. Plus, he figured Erilena might just smack him if he attempted to kiss the Bluehandler before they'd all gotten some wine in them, and if Piden was there for the grand entrance he wasn't totally sure he could resist embarassing the other Handler, not with all those people watching. No, far better to be late.
It also gave Piden an oppourtunity to wear his wonderful fur-lined gloves, something he would never risk around anything similar to manual labor. He liked them too much. Otherwise he was dressed simply, despite the fact that even a simple outfit was something of an art form for Piden. Suffice to say he looked smashing (as if he didn't always). He hadn't brought his gift with him - it could wait - so the Bronzehandler just strolled in once the party was in full swing, offering a wave here, a nod there (even if they weren't all aimed at people who were actually paying attention). Pidesk was having somewhat more luck, shyly joining the grouping of Whers around the enormous Green with extra wings. He wasn't sure he'd ever seen a Green so large, he commented generally. Shells had been forcibly left at home, but Red, who wasn't likely to do much more than shiver and hide, and Three, who had already scurried off to find Puddleglum, had been allowed to attend. Neither were likely to cause much trouble.
Maybe it was the protectively cuddly feelings coming from Three, who had indeed found Puddleglum and was doing her best to twine herself around his brown form, or maybe it was Pidesk, who had now found a second enormous green to dote on, but Piden didn't exactly trust himself around Dmitri quite yet. It was such a nice party, no need to cause a scene quite yet. Yoalla and Erilena, while tempting, didn't seem particularly safe either. But... "If it isn't my" Sneak, Red interrupted as Piden slid around in front of Raebeli. "I was going to say lovely Lady Raebeli, but I suppose sneak works too. Less flowery. Speaky of flowers, that one is quite pretty," he added, reaching up to momentarily touch the blossom at her ear. "How have you been?"

Oh! Well there was a Feyrianth to converse with it seemed, and not wanting to seem aloof, the little green rose to her feet and trotted over to the other dragon with the lightest of steps. She was of course careful of the smaller nightcreatures, but she assumed that if they were in their own element - the darkness - they should just as easily be able to get out from underfoot as she should be able to maneuver around them. Having successfully made her way over however, Quixoth crooned a greeting at the surrounding whers and used her long tail to reach around and tap the four winged dragon with a hello, How kind of you Feyrianth... Though she thought about the other dragon's words for a moment before musing, We are not sisters though are we? I know we did not share a clutch...
The green was being just as goofy with her remarks as she was being serious. She did want to know as she was particularly precise for being a green, and words were so very important to her, but then she did already assume that sister was being used not to distinguish the share of any blood, but instead as some kind of term of solidarity. As such, she waited expectantly for an answer as she eased down into position, Come now...unless you mean sisters in green-ness, or sisters of the infirmary ledges... ohhhhhh or sisters of nightcreature parties?
Feeling a wave of contentment from her dragons move over to more sociable company - Raebeli was never really worried about Quixoth finding friends, but it did feel better knowing that her darling had someone to talk to other than herself - and the addition of the flower to her hair, the mindhealer felt just a bit flush as she scurried off then to stir her pot of cheesy noodles one last time. Just as she was drifting away from it though out of fear that her hovering would do more to discourage it's disappearance, she found herself face to face with a familiar sort of weyr denizen. Oh a Piden... that ever charming bronzehandler! The giggles she let out ended in a definite little snort, "I've been quite fine..." she unconsciously reached up to adjust the blossom in turn, "How about you? Still wearing all your delightfully fuzzy sort of pajamas?"
Yes, clearly talking about bed time accessories was very casual in the world of this one.

Roivao was quite happy not to be bothered. This wasn't his party, after all and it looked like everyone was really enjoying themselves. Even Dmitri had looked surprised. Leaning back against Puddleglum's tree, Roi was content to watch, rather than talk. He wasn't much for talking anymore, as most of them knew, and large crowds were still somewhat uncomfortable. Not to mention the two green dragons were a bit too close for his comfort. He hadn't been this close to a dragon since Sel'n left and the all too familiar pain and memories were plain on his face for a fraction of a moment. Still, there were plenty of things to look at besides dragons and it was truly wonderful to see everyone so free of the cares the Wastelanders had poured on them.
Not that it seemed he would have his way, as Dmitri was already heading in his direction. Attempts at retreat were cut off by Nautic and Swithin. The other two probably didn't intend to trap him, but Roi had little choice but to allow Dmitri to corner him or else seem rude. Smiling despite his discomfort, he tried to casually slip from the Harper's grasp. "They out did themselves," he commented politely, nodding at Nautic and Erilena. Especially managing to keep it a secret for so long.
Roisk and Puddleglum were fairly well too. Their glow of happy feelings was adding to Roi's good mood. Three's arrival had lifted Puddleglum's night to almost unheard of levels. He curled his thin body around the salamandyr with a pleased, if subdued purr. Even at his happiest he had a hard time being as bright as his kin. He was sorry the humans didn't understand how special Three was, enough to give her a party. But he was equally alright with having her all to himself. Roisk had moved away from the main group in an effort to make sure every wher felt welcome and appreciated. He found Darmosk and gave the younger bronze a playful head butt. It was good to have everyone together, was it not?

Porita was started to grow uncomfortable in the presence of so many people. Posk returned to her, tugging on her skirts. Come and play, he beg. All would be well, he was sure. How would Porita learn anything when she was always hiding? This was not the way the pack should act! Porita allowed her to pull her a little, but she still wasn't sure she aught to be here. Then she spotted a familiar face and managed a smile. Posk was more than willing to join Hinsesk if that made Porita happy. He pounced playfully at the brown's tail. What was a party without games?
Porita waved shyly at Hinsero, genuinely pleased to see him. She didn't really expect to want to spend much time with her, but it would still be nice to say hello. "It's a lovely party," she said softly, blushing at how silly that sounded. Really, was that all she could manage? She was probably too boring to talk to tonight. After all, it was Dmitri's party, not hers.

"Me?" He pressed a finger to his chest, eyes widening. "I'm completely innocent. I could never help put something like this together, I'm just sooo unorganized." He paused. "Okay, okay. You know I can't refuse the offer of putting together a party. Plus, I can't say no to Eri... I always feel like I'm kicking a kitten when I do." Tucking his thumbs into his pants' beltloops, the Greenrider smiled. "Well all I can say is I'm glad you don't mind. I mean, free food. Free, good food." Although that stuff Raebeli made... "And presents. Nautsk picked ours out for you, she was very insistent on it since I've always picked your gifts out. You should have seen her, running around like a chicken with its head cut off. A very happy chicken, but frantic none the less." Well, technically, Absinthe picked out half of it. But, he wouldn't tell the Bluehandler. By telling him, it would basically give that entire half away.
Nautsk wuffed at and greeted all the whers and Dragons who arrived, happy that everyone was able to come. Oh! Look! It was two of her very favorites! Barking happily at Dmisk and Yosk, she trotted over to intercept them. Oh wasn't Yosk sister pretty tonight! And wasn't Dmisk handsome? His had certainly been shocked! Her's was so happy he liked it, and she was happy that everyone could come out and play together! Oh but was she keeping them from going to see someone? She didn't want to get in the way.

Zemask had been lounging near the LadyGreen, when he spotted Hinsesk and Posk begin to interact. Oh were his brothers playing a game? Could he join? Maybe they would let him. Looking up at Fey, he wuffed with affection. He would be back later! Rolling onto his feet, the Brown bounced his way over to the two males with a rumble. Hello his brothers! Would they like to play with him? He wouldn't mind if they didn't, he always liked talking to Feyrianth. Crouching, he wuffed, watching the other two with a happy swish of his tail.
(Zem took a break to locate a water glass and is continuing to play, the tune is very up beat and jiggy.)
