Venideth stared with swirling red-orange eyes at Arhenaiyth, and when the older blue went for Venideth's throat, the darker blue dragon shifted upwards, letting Arhenaiyth's claws slide useless along the armored hide along Venideth's underside. Twisting, he was about to fire his own jaws to capture his disrespectful opponent's throat in his own teeth when suddenly Yeomenth was between them, spoiling his strike as he looped out to keep from accidentally harming his sister. Yeomenth's purr was acknowledge with a terse pulse, but nothing more... Venideth's presence, and actions, were from a sense of duty and honor, not in a quest for recognition or thanks. "Concentrate on your Flight, sister. I will keep an eye on this unwelcome cur." Venideth sent directly to Yeomenth before she dove away. Then, directly to Arhenaiyth, Venideth sent, "You should leave now, fool, before you lose more ichor. If you are stupid enough to continue, know that I shall be your shadow... if my sister is foolish enough to choose you, that is the only way you will have her."
On the ground, Lilu did not move from where she leaned on the wall, arms crossed, though she gave an aggressive narrowed-eye glare at T'ri as their dragons interacted in the skies above. At Kry'n's statement towards herself and Iskierka, Lilu made an expression that was equal parts sarcastic smile and aggressive teeth-baring, stating for both herself and Venideth, "Some are here because of a sense of duty."

Epifayrmuth let out a cheerful little rumble as Yeomenth pulled out of her dive in a shower of leaves. A fine thing indeed! The bronze, however, did not venture so close to the treetops himself, slowing his own dive a few feet above the green, however it seemed that whatever feats some of the challengers might achieve, there was someone else who had decided on a quite different challenge.
As he noticed that, for the second time in this Flight, Arhenaiyth was determined to antagonise somebody the small bronze’s upper lip curled in contept. Foolish, lazy, there was nothing at all to be gained from such actions, the blue had already irked Yeomenth once. For a fleeting moment Epifayrmuth considered offering Arhenaiyth some advice that might redeem him, but it was only a fleeting moment. Let the blue make a fool of himself as long as he didn’t make a fool of anyone else.
Dismissing the competition from his mind again Epifayrmuth twisted into a thermal to rise again, the young bronze was rather fond o saving his own energy for greater things, even if no greater things should emerge. He was more than willing to follow Yeomenth in another dive down toward the canyon, revelling in the fall and making the most streamlined shape he could until he pulled his hindquarters back under him and settled to shadowing above Yeomenth, for although he was the smallest of bronzes he knew he was nothing like as agile as the green. Instead he was content to follow her progress and wordlessly express his admiration for her skills.
Mo’rya leaned into the greenrider’s touch like a cat while his unacknowledged passenger writhed away from Kyr’n as if a mere accidental brush would be distasteful. ‘The best?’ Mo’rya repeated, slightly confused, then a sudden smile broke through. ‘Oh yes I want to play your game, dear one, but you’ll surely outdo me.’ Though the bronzerider still had his own enthusiasm if seemed his dragon had taken over his speech patterns, twisting them to more eloquent ends. As he reached out to grab Kyr’n’s hand with intent to drag the green off to play at childish games Mo’rya was distracted again, this time by Lilu. ‘Duty? This isn’t an onerous duty. It’s fun. Mostly.’ The last word was added with a sideways glare at T’ri. Duty? What it is, people to protect. Not to monsters feed them, not to night leave them. Wit turned his head toward Lilu briefly as he commented his opinion., or his version of an opinion he’d overheard, on the matter.

His wings snapped out, taking the brunt of the force as Tenloceth leveled out a few feet higher than her. The blue Ioth had moved ahead of him and though he wanted to be closet, he knew he was not faster than the blue. So as Yeomenth rose to put the meaner blue in his place Tenloceth rose a little higher than made a steep bank. His wings where almost perpendicular with the ground. His bank might have been broader than a blue or green's certainly, but it was pretty tight for a brown of his stature.
He moved into position behind and to the right of Yeomenth and followed again, rising into the air and plummeting behind her. She was so graceful and wild. You are a beautiful vixen of the air! He said as he turned to pass Epifayrmuth, twisting so he could pass to bronze inverted to him. The tricks he tried where relatively simple, but he hoped his green beauty would appreciate the attempt.
As she reached the canyon he held back a little. There where parts of the canyon too narrow for him. So when he could he went down between the treacherous walls. One ledge in particular was close to the top and Tenloceth went for it. He slowed down just a little and extended his rear feet. Using the ledge as a spring board, his rear legs bent from the impact before pushing up and way. His heart pumped in adrenaline as it was one of the boldest things he's ever done. It nothing else happened in this flight, he would at least leave with a little more confidence in himself. He flew above her now, trying to get closer.
M'ze was thrilled that his green deigned to touch him as she passed. He turned towards Kyr'n and slid his way around so he cloud be closer to her. "I only have eyes for you, and shall revel in your games" He purred. He not to sublty shifted on front of Mo'yra, possibly getting in the way of his hand and offering one of his own. "Care to dance with one who wishes to be worthy?"

It was hard to be as involved, Osnat noted. Even as the feelings of flight took over, she couldn't help but look on in some wide-eyed disbelief of being there. Quite unlike the story when Leviathan had been guiding her every move. Instead, for her part she had enough wherewithal and will to force herself away from the presence of Lilu, knowing well that close quarters between the two were probably not the best of ideas. No, instead she was much more likely to get herself in trouble with another blue in the room, having seen the pointed glared shot her way by T'ri. It took everything in her to only return a foul look back and not words - her jaw clinched as she snapped within herself, what'chu lookin at?
As to be expected with such an odd disconnect, Perienmoth was hardly as flummoxed by the other competitors as was his rider. In fact, he was so nonplussed as to ignore Venideth's reply altogether, writing it off as another boring and idle threat. Dearest brother always did think he was a clever one didn't he? Making it all that much more amusing with Arhenaiyth seemed to choose him as a toy this go around. Hopefully the two of them would have plenty of fun with that. He was going to save his energy for much more worthy expenditures. Namely, chasing Yeomenth. That was what they were here for if he wasn't mistaken.
The young dragon took to the dive as gracefully as his fresh and relatively untested wings would allow for, his body tightening in to resemble the sword his whitish markings already outline. With a ferocious strike her leveled out too above the trees, allowing his talons to prune the young growing shoots of green. He had to take such liberties with his flight as he could, since close calls wouldn't be as welcome up ahead where Yeomenth went to play among rocks and ridges. In such instances, he noted, it was a little better to play it safe, and so it was that he held back in the maze of the canyon, awaiting the chance to break into the open where his energy could be unfettered.

Yeomenth was pleased. The trouble maker Arhenaiyth was obeying her at last, or at least ignoring her for now. So long as he learned his place, she was satisfied. She left him to Venideth's watchful eye and continued her Flight. She rolled and pushed off a low ledge into the air. She rose up and out of the canyon and high into the air once more, flipping to drift back the way she had come. Her wings were growing weary and her breath came faster. It would be time to end this soon, but not yet. Her males had one more chance to prove themselves before she made her choice.
Epifayrmuth, though he wasn't following as closely as the others, was showing her excellent attention. She was pleased by his efforts and his focus on her alone and drifted over him with a brush of her tail. Her path took her past Tenloceth, whose lovely words brought a purr of approval and a twinkle of her eye. Perienmoth followed well too, and he was well loved for being her brother. She dipped near him as well with a flip of her wings.
Now Yeomenth rose still higher. She was no flighty, small green to dance around like a flitter. Nor was she a true queen, to keep her males chasing her all morning. Instead, she rose as high as her endurance would allow, crying her delight to the sky with a roar of joy and defiance. She would let each male choose how to please her in their own way. Her neck spun around to gaze at them expectantly. They performed well, were they up for a last challenge?
Kyr'n shrugged, offering Lilu a coy smile. It was her loss if she didn't want to play. He had other males to play with, like Mor'ya! Kyr'n beamed at him and let him take his hand. Such flattery was not to be ignored. "How can I be sure until I see your game?" he asked adoringly. He twirled around with the young man, ducking under M'ze. Then he let Mor'ya's hand go to take M'ze's instead, spinning in a delightful circle. "Why of course!" he agreed, winking seductively. "But perhaps I will have time to do both?"

Ioth saw no point in fighting with the other males unless they picked a fight with him. If any of the young ones tried it he would show them their place - violently and without much mercy, such was his way in battle - but for the most part the blue was a peaceful creature. That was why Ioth found it pathetically amusing that the much younger blues seemed to be at odds with each other. Yeomenth stepped in, metaphorically speaking, to stop them. Apparently she wasn't a green that appreciated others fighting over her.
Ioth let the green play as she wanted while he made at least a token effort at impressing her. Nothing as flashy as he sometimes offered his favourites but the blue didn't know how to not fly well anymore so it was still a nice display. He swooped down by the water and cupped as much of the cool liquid as he could within his claws before sharply rising. The blue slipped into a spin and released the leaking water from his grasp, sending it all around him. If some of it ended up on the other chasers...well, it really wasn't intentional but he wasn't flying for them anyway.
Iskierka resisted the smirk at the greenweyrling's expense. So deluded by flightlust, it was kind of unfortunate really. It spoke volumes about his dragon though. Arrogant and showy, apparently. No wonder Ioth was having so much fun. "To play? Is that what they're calling it these days?" She answered, her tone just this side of amused. "I suppose it's close enough." She waited a moment more, letting the others have the limelight. Iskierka had been a dancer, at one point, for her master many, many turns ago. She knew a slightly different brand of dancing though.
Using a mix of dancing know-how and fighting skills she slipped in between Kyr'n and M'ze, expertly disengaging their hands. "You wanted to be shown what I can do, right? Then do relax," Iskierka commented in a low purr that was more Elysia than herself. She placed one hand lightly on Kyrn's chest, drifting around him with graceful sways of her hips until she was behind him. Iskierka slipped in a tempting kiss on the back of his neck before giving him a light tap on his back. "Tada."
At the same time Iskierka chose to make her move Ioth noted the vertical change in the pattern of the flight. At long last! The blue displayed his true speed as she rose higher and higher. Unobtrusively he made certain he was right on Yeomenth's tail. At the peek of her flight he flipped around from where he had been just out of her peripherals so she could realize how dangerously close he was. He let his tail drift by hers before pulling away enough to give her some breathing room. Ioth rather thought his closeness spoke for itself.
((I don't think I stepped out too much, considering who they are, but if anyone wants me to change anything lemme know.))

M'ze offered Kyr'n a grin and twirled the young man. As the twirl completed he gave Kyr'n a dip back then brought him up. The closeness to his green was inspiring. As their bodies parted for some regular dancing M'ze found his way blocked by Iskierka. The blue was making a move! He gave the blue a moment as Iskierka danced his way around Kyrn. Once his view was unimpeded he took up dancing in front of Kyr'n with one of classic mischievous grins. "Shall we continue oh Glorious one?"
Tenloceth watched excitedly as Yeomenth came around. She wasn't choosing already was she? With relief she passed the bronze and came towards him. His heart sped up. She puurred his way! The twinkle in her eyes seemed to draw him into banking towards her. He curved around, hoping to get close before her next move. But alas he was not! Eyes gazed up wards and watched her rise. Wings followed, pumping down, up, down, up. He watched as the blue Ioth drew close.
As he managed to level out in the same area as she, he rumbled a response to her joyous cry. Turning towards her, he flew close and then twisted down, showing his belly as he ducked underneath her and around to the other side. His movements where pretty typical for a brown his build, efficient, pretty even as he was trying hard, but not as smooth as a blue or green to do.

Yeomenth's wings burned with exhaustion. She longed to fly longer and higher, but she knew she was must end this now. Her males had flown well enough. They were strong and agile and most were devoted to her presence. She leveled off her flight, turning one last circle as she examined them. Arhenaiyth was out of course, and Venideth she knew would prefer her sister. Perienmoth and Epifayrmuth were both very handsome and quite focus on herself throughout it all. Of course she could not deny Ioth's efforts either. He was clearly the most experienced and skilled of the lot.
Still, she decided that flattery would win her over this time. Tenloceth and his lovely words pleased her, as did his efforts to follow despite her challenges. With a cry of vicious joy, Yeomenth dropped. She brushed Ioth as she passed, offering only him and touch of approval at his impressive display. Then she plummeted into Tenloceth's grasp. Your words tame me, kind one, she declared, with a touch of arrogance. Perhaps you are worthy this time.
Kyr'n let Iskierka dance him around. She was an Impressive male, it was true. He swoop in his own dancing moves and watched as she pulled away. "Thank you for the lesson," he purred sweetly. Part of him thought it wouldn't be so bad to choose her. Yet he wanted to be the one in command this time. Someone more susceptible to her charm and grace. He moved past the other males and let M'ze take his hand once more. "Why yes," he agreed with a wry smile. "I believe we shall."

He never expected it, but as he looked up to Yeomenth's cry he realized she was coming down on top of him. Tenloceth turned to meet her, embracing her close, joyfully entwining his neck around her and enveloping her while they fell from the height. His mind opened to hers in lust, passion and joy. She had chosen him, and he would give her all he had....
As Kyr'n accepted his hand M'ze felt the elation and passion swell inside his bonded and knew he was chosen. He returned Kyr'n's smile with on of his own. He pulled his green close and kissed Kyr'n deeply, reveling in the heat of the moment. His free hand around Kyr'n's back tightened and the dancing he had originally intended turned into something more erotic as he led them towards the bed. He was a body of fire and electricity and he was going to share every bit of that tonight...
